Thank you. The answer is in the screen shot, where it says dimensions. It's 480p.
 
720 X 480 = DVD quality.

Not a fair comparison but my Canon point and shoot in MOV 30 seconds = almost 80 MBs.

All signs point to no HD based on what Im reading.


If all is accurate I appreciate the effort.

It's too large to post in here....and I'm not posting to my personal youtube account, sorry.

In all honesty, it's really not THAT sharp. It's decent for video, and the fps is fast enough that it looks smooth.

I 2nd that. Though 3gp was the file extension, 720p not to be completely excluded as an option though. But even if it was, certainly not a deal breaker. This was exciting, figuring out the capabilities. Thanks again for putting up with the tin foil hat crowd.
 
FYI guys.....now that I've had my N1 turned off.....I'm not losing my wifi signal. So, I think there is something definitely up with the phone when it's on wifi and using airport. It was basically cutting my signal, and even my land lines. I had to reboot my airport and router several times to gain my connection again.

Yeah. Not familiar enough with 3gp to know if a 2mbps bitrate is HD.
Not a deal breaker , but would have been cool to be able shoot and upload HD vids to YT in just a few taps.

i would like to see a video unboxing..so far in the past we have seen pictures of the box..but u are the only one that i see that posts pics of the things inside.. but a video would be way better..you should do a short video unboxing and post it

First thought was to definitely video tape it, but I didn't. The reason I did photos, is because I didn't want to screw up and show any numbers or anything on certain areas of the box or device that could identify it. I used to work at Google, but ended up getting this as a hook up from a friend and I don't want to screw that person. I'm chosing to be as safe as possible.
 
Protecting your source, better safe than sorry. Try to repeat the wifi problem tomorrow, it might be just an individual problem, might be something worth reporting to your source.

Could you put some tape on the numbers/areas ? Sorry about being a little synical, try to put yourself in our place.

i really want this phone. i've got two phones sitting next to me, waiting to be returned once i get this phone.

can you answer me these two questions, if you have the information?

1) when is it coming out? if u can't tell me the exact date, can you at least say whether i can get it before jan 31? (that's when my phones have to be returned)

2) how much will it cost?

I personally think some folk (moderator included) need to mellow out with the 4chan "TITS OR GTFO" mentality. Exclusive pics of any kind is way out of this forum's league on an average day (just tell'in it like it is).

Im not using an airport but I have had no problems with the wifi and my router.
 
just took a look at the pic with the phone, remote, and soda, and it looks damn real to me, i use photoshop A LOT, I know what can be done with it, if someone shopped it they have mad crazy good skillz.

it gets my stamp of authenticity.

Really sorry man, I don't know the answer to either. Unfortunatly, I didn't get that information at all and didn't really care to know since I was getting mine early and for free, lol.

I only know the same rumors as you guys.

So do you have the phone as well? If so, I'd love to chat one on one with you about some questions I have. It's definitely crashing out my service though....as soon as I shut the phone down my service was completely fine.
