Has anyone else experienced difficulties with applications that utilize GPS on their Stratosphere? I am on a Verizon network and normally have a 4G signal.

The main app that concerns me is my GolfLogix app. While golfing, it is supposed to give me distances to greens, hazards, etc. However, when in this app my GPS icon just flashes continually and never locks onto a signal, and hence I get no distances. This app worked great on my previous phone, a first generation Motorola Droid.

I have all three GPS settings checked on my

I've had no troubles with GPS, Google Maps, Navigation, Compass (by Catch) and Rainy Days all work fine and lock onto my location. Sometimes they even do well indoors, which is awesome.

Okay, I'm being forced to consider that the absolute lack of activity on this thread would seem to indicate that others are not experiencing any GPS-related problems with location-based apps on their Stratosphere.

I was hoping for some insight, but apparently ain't none comin'!

That would lead me to believe that the issue is with my GolfLogix app and not the phone.

Agreed?

At least 2 times in the last 10 days,I had to reboot the phone to get the GPS to reconnect. All other resets did not work.
I use the GPS for Google navigator every weekday.

I have had almost nothing but troubles with mine. The GPS is always off by about 500 feet or more so it is constantly telling me how to get to where I am. I have tried several different solutions in software (as per Verizon support) an of course none have worked. They even had me reset and even hard reboot my phone, again to no use. I was told this was a good phone, guess their idea of a good phone is about as good as their support service.
