It stopped working a while back and I thought maybe it had something to do with me not updating to Gingerbread. Well, I updated to .602 via sbf because the phone was rooted. Well, the GPS is still not working. Any ideas? Just a bad GPS unit in the phone?
Yes, I've gone into settings and turned on all the applicable gps settings and agreed to the (new) "I agree" thingies. Will not come on no matter what I do. I've left it outside for many minutes while in Google Navigation and ....nothing. I've recalibrated the compass(and that actually worked) and anything I thought might help, to no avail.
I don't really want to do a factory reset, only to find the gps is out and have to re-do my whole phone layout.
Is there anyway to just test the gps itself to see if it is bad?
