how do i get it to work ... i need it i drive alot asof late and hate switching phones when i do lol ... any help would be great !

Boot into recovery, make a backup or your current ROM. Load a Sense ROM, run Maps and download GPS Status from the market.
Let maps get a good lock, maybe run navigation, and then run GPS Status. While in GPS Status go to tools, and aGPS, hit download, let it get a good lock.
Boot back into recovery, full wipe, system, data, cache, dalvik, and restore the backup you just made.
