Root GR 9 Out now 2.3.3

thanks, so its still best to do the one-click odin back to stock 2.1 before apply the odin 3? or its not necessary?

I'd definitely recommend flashing stock before you go to 2.3 if you are coming from 2.2. Once you're on 2.3 if you want to flash other roms make sure you DO NOT flash bootloaders again (why take the risk...it would be a pointless risk and potentially catastrophic) UNLESS you want to go to CM7 or MIUI (but after these roms why would you...at least how they are now). There is a "safe" regular odin package that you can use to flash back to stock that does not include bootloaders (if you so desire to flash back to stock before flashing another rom). Here is the link: [STOCK ROM]Use for going back to stock before flashing a custom ROM with minimum risk - xda-developers

It's only in beta, there are going to be many updates, so if you don't enjoy setting your phone up over and over, wait until a more stable release before flashing. I'm waiting, I just don't have the time to fiddle that frequently. But I am following the threads over at XDA to keep up with the development.

the instructions are all up on the xda page and all the files you need are included, its not as easy as regular roms but its not difficult

Hey ... I feel completely dumbfounded lol ... Please help me out. I downloaded the "package" listed on the directions ... and found out it is a 7z file ... so I dLed a 7z file Manager ... and I am still having problems opening this file.
:(

:EDIT:

Well I did some much needed research ... and fully understand the process now! Hopefully I will be a Ginger tomorrow! :D
