Hey,

Just did an AOL search to figure out how to get rid of City ID off my Droid X. We're doing some housecleaning and asked Verizon. They said go to settings, Applications, manage applications, City ID and then menu to delete. Well, that didn't work. There is no menu when you get there.

The AOL search pointed to a forum post, which I read, talking about rooting, etc. But fourth or fifth post down someone said, "Open City ID". Well, that worked. City ID is gone.

After registering, I was able to thank the author. Post is almost a year old, but who cares? It worked. Cool beans!
