Great galaxy note cases

You spend a lot of you want but I still believe this is the best bang for the buck......

At less then $4 you can not beat it.....

Good tight fit. Not slippery and does not collect dust. Also slides in and out of pocket real nice. All cut out line up. At least on mine they do.

Well, seeing how you put like that, I will have to agree with you.
I have the same case, as it was the only case out there and in stock when I got my phone. Disappointed at the lack of selection at that time I just bought what they had and told myself that I would "up grade " when others came on the market.

But after having the case for just about a week now, I will have to admit that the case is not bad at all!

You are correct, you can grip it easy with no slipping, dust doesn't collect on it, and yes the holes do line up just fine!

Tip for anyone who gets a case and finds that the Samsung charging cable that came with the phone does not fit through the case hole and uses a Dremel tool to enlarge the hole. Enlarge the hole from the inside out because if the Dremel slips you will scar up the case. Also don't take out too much, just enough fir the cable to fit through. That's how i did mine and it looks stock.

Ihave this case in black/red. Its nice and has a kickstand that can hold the phone up on its side or up right. Its nust kinda hard to get the phone back out though.

I got the same case, though I bought it from a local Asian-owned Cell Phone accessory store in the mall. I like it well enough, but I would kinda like a thinner case. Torn between protecting the phone and bulking up my pocket.

Got the Rearth case in the mail yesterday and I like it alot. It really is pretty slim and adds no noticeable bulk or girth to the device. Plus I really like the fact that it leaves the power and volume buttons exposed. With the Boxwave Unicolor case it covered the buttons and it was really hard to interact with them. I had to use a lot of pressure in order to press them. Plus like I said earlier the Unicolor case added too much bulk to the device.

But I'm really impressed with the slimness of the rearth case so far. Plus it has little tabs that cover the headphone and mini-usb ports so no lint or anything will get stuck in there. This is exactly what I was looking for. I can now finally put an end to the "great white buffalo case hunt" LOL.

Is the case hard or does it have a gel feel to it? I've read that the Note can get a little hard to hold because of it's size and slick back. I'm looking for a case that is gel in order to stick to my hand better, while also being ultra slim as well.

i just picked up my note yesterday, and i picked up the moshi screen protector, the guy put it on before i could even say no -_-, and the samsung flip protective case. the case was super expensive for a whole lot of nothing(not alot of fabric or anything), but i think it was worth it and makes it look awesome!

The case is kind of like a hard-but-flexible-plastic. It's pretty slim as well and doesn't add very much bulk at all. The case is not as slippery as the original back cover but it's nowhere near the texture of a gel case which you're probably looking for. But I haven't had any issues with it being slippery.

I haven't seen this one posted yet but try the SGP cases.
I have a green one and it comes with a screen protector of very high quality x 2.

You can find them on amazon (an array of wonderful colors) or you can go directly to their website as well -

enjoy !

I should be receiving the 'Barely There' case by Case-Mate today. I'll let you know what I think of it once I get it. Only $25.

I went with this case also and i think it really lives up to its name, which is good and bad. I feel like there is no screen protection at all, no slight lip that protrudes above the screen to protect from a screen to surface type of placement. Comparing to my Incase case for iphone where i could just place it screen down and not worry about it. Otherwise I like it, can hardly tell its there.

What did you think of it?

I got the Galaxy Note Flip Cover which replaces the back cover and couldn't be happier. It adds no thickness and the flip cover protects the screen. I would recommend this to anyone.

Mine should be in my mailbox within the next couple days!!!! :D I can't wait!!

i also purchased this original flip case by samsung in white.
the quality is excellent and definitely makes the phone appear and feel
of extreme quality
the only downside to it is that after using it for about two weeks,
it became a little awkward when taking photos since the cover will be dangling
and will get in the way (i love the camera on the phone, and i use it tremendously.
the picture quality is excellent imh (considering the fact that i used an iPhone 4S and transferred to galaxy note)

sorry for the lengthy response,

as mentioned by esj1940, i think the case is of an excellent choice
but do consider the fact of it being *slightly* in the way
if you do take a lot of pictures.

Well, I would say the Boxwave Designio (Horizontal Flip) Leather Case looks very clean, professional and nice. However, the Note doesn't fit like a glove. It's not a snug fit and the Note can easily slide out just by inverting it. The cutouts don't align perfectly and is made of soft leather (would have preferred it to be a little stiffer). Not overall pleased with it, but it was cheap ($20 Cdn). It is padded (cushiony feel) on the front and back but no real protection on the top and bottom.

Now, that's just the beginning...

I've decided to do something odd. I went out and found an Incipio Feather case to put the Note in. Due to the Note already being a little loose in the Boxwave case, I thought of jamming the Note with the Feather into it (just as an experiment and out of pure curiosity). Well, it was an extremely tight fit (I wasn't even expecting it to fit or work at all). So, yeah, I was quite amused by this and I guess the soft leather had the advantage of being able to stretch a bit.

What's more funny is that since I did this, the cutouts are almost perfectly aligned. I'll see what this monstrosity will look like when I take it with me to work tomorrow. This is becoming quite an interesting experiment...

Please don't ask what I was thinking when I did this (I honestly don't know myself)... LOL.

Trident just came out with their Aegis case.

I just ordered one on Amazon.

I was waiting to see if Otterbox was coming out with one soon, but the reply to a e-mail I sent them regarding that didn't fill me with hope.

This Trident looks like it will fill my requirements.
