Help Green blinking light

Assuming that the green blinking light is to indicate that you have something new, what new things trigger it on the ZTE Warp Sequent and is there any way to disable any of these from making this infernal light blink?

I want it to blink only for messages, voicemail and missed calls.

it would all depend on your other apps and how their notification settings are. some will come defaulted to blinking that light while giving an option to turn it off, others will just be stuck that way im pretty sure unless there are individual settings for notifications in the main phone settings

Try settings/display/notification blink.
Check the ones you want in here.

Then check any downloaded apps settings also.

There's a "Pulse notification light" and I can toggle it on and off, but no settings to check apps on and off.

Thinking that it is Gmail, I went in to Gmail and disabled notifications there. We'll see what that does.

Cant hurt, it has to turn something off
