Help green hornet movie question

After doing the update this morning, I am not able to view the movie. I click on the hornet icon to watch. It still states that there is an important update to this application. Click ok and it says it is already to do date. Reset phone and still getting the same thing each time.

I'm having the same issue. Guess I shouldn't have updated my phone, lol.

yeah as soon as i got the handset i did a copy/paste form the 8 gb to the 32 gb card out of the evo. glad you finally got it to work. the movie looks great on the screen.. and it looks good on a 3D plasma display also...

I think what Lion was asking is where did you get the MHL HDMI Cable that plugs into our USB port?

Might just have to be patient over the next day or two. Every person who got the phone this morning is checking for updates and trying to get The Green Hornet working. Probably just a traffic issue, or at least that is my guess.
 
Yeah I am having the exact same problem. It wouldn't run before the update and it still won't run now :( It says I have to do an update but there is no update to be done :P

There is an Update. You have to go to Menu then Settings then System Updates then HTC Software update. If nothing is there just check every few hours. I am sure the system is just overloaded.

Yeah that one was the one that auto updated :) I will just wait - it's all good :)
 
I think sikclown is correct. The update just hit for me.

Edit:

This update is hanging on 1 of 4 updates and the status bar for d/l didn't make any progress.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I just came from a sprint store and a radio shack and they didn't have it, also checked Best Buy's website and they don't have them either. The sprints accessories page for the EVO 3D shows an HDMI Type D to Type A connector but that's actually for the original EVO (Type D is micro HDMI and Type A is regular HDMI). My go-to place for cables (monoprice) doesn't have them either. So I'm asking, how are you guys watching the Green Hornet movie through your televisions?
 
read the mhl discussion thread. it talks about the adapter and where to get it. lers not take this thread off topic. :) i also posted above how im able to view.
 
The Green Hornet was working this morning when I got the phone, then I did the updates, and now the movie is missing. Anyone else have this problem?
 
3D..amazing...Yes!! Loving it 30mins in. Already know sense 3.0 from the Kingdom port....but still.
 
Went into the watch app, hit the lower left button, selected Green Hornet.

I'm watching it now. I don't know what's worse... the Green Hornet, Seth Rogen, or 3D. Amazingly 3D is the least in the running of the 3...
 
After moving the movie from the supplied microSD card to a 16GB microSD, now the movie doesn't play in 3D. I copied all of the folders to the new card. What am I missing? I switched to 3D and still no 3D with the movie. Any ideas?

By the way, 3D works great with pictures, videos, and the games. It's just the green hornet movie that doesn't play in 3D.

what else have you done to troubleshoot? did you do a battery pull? a soft reset form the shutdown menu (the one that states you will lose temp files, etc ).

did you remove any apps or install anything?

i copied the file over form one card to another and it worked right away. is the original folder still on the original 8 gb card? did you try the file from there?
 
Ummmmm.......stupid question probably......but where is the green hornet file located on the SD card? I looked through my files and dont see it.
