GS2 and Jellybean and Music

Here is something funny I have noticed about music on my phone since I updated to the jellybean goodness!!!

1st - something that I wish would happen is my lockscreen would have landscape - would really help in my car like seriously it's being a drag.

2nd - my lockscreen widgets for my music control have disappeared - I use both amazon player - which does give me a lock widget - which is the only one, but for my internal phone music I like to use the default samsung player and the easiest way to skip to the the next song is from the notifications which have really tiny buttons and I have really big fingers (yes I am like 6' 4" and I am quite big) (yes that's what she said :) haha ).

3rd - Why does google music player suck so bad. If I have 10 songs by one artist but no album when I want to see the songs just by that artist it throws me into the list of all of the songs. (that is simply stupid) I am aware that this don't have much to do with jellybean but still it is annoying as hell and that's why I don't really use google music.

4th - where the hell did samsung get the idea not to have a physical location storage for the stupid playlists you create? If you have 1 play list and your music is on your external sd - you remove it for a little plug it back in and voala no damn playlist. So you want to tell me that I spent 30 minutes playing with my phone to make a playlist and now it is gone! Ahhhh!!!!!

So ya any of you having similar issues with your music???? Or maybe you have resolved these problems, I would love to know!!!!

I wish I could help but I don't think I have ever listened to one song on my phone. :D

Haha you are missing out Atma. Perfect multi media device and a camera too. Ever since the smartphone with sd slot came out I dropped all mp3s and digital cameras and use my phone for almost everything on the road! :-)

I don't think it is a CM10 ROM issue alextop30. I did the Jellybean update with official t-mobile ROM on Kies and all I can add to the lock screen are shortcuts as well. I get around that issue by using WidgetLocker Lockscreen for my lockscreen needs. No issues on that program with adding a Widget to the Jellybean lockscreen. It did cost me $2.99 but I think it was money well spent. I like the look and customization options. I actually bought it to be sure I could access the Pandora widget wile I was listening over bluetooth headphones.

Yea I know it is not because of jellybean, my bro has the nexus 4 and stock Android has all of the widget goodness that you can want on the lock screen not sure if it exactly allows the rotation to landscape but still plenty of use before you have to unlock! I wonder if there is any reason behind it why Samsung disabled the lockscreen widgets. I'm also wondering how deep in the code that is done and if it could modified easily so that the lockscreen widgets are functional.
