GS3 Case discussion thread

I'm still searching for a good case with a belt clip. The otterbox looks like it's going to be bulky.

Any Otterbox Defender series is bulky. It's rugged, but bulky. I stopped using it for my N1 because it wouldn't fit in any car mounts that I had.

It kind of irks me that OB doesn't make holsters for the Commuter series.

Looks like for now like I'll be planning on a Seidio case for the S3 when I get one next month.

I might go with this and the two flip cases that samsung made. I'll mix and match with the flip cases so my S3 can have a pebble blue back and white front.

How much is that in US $?

Samsung website lists the US price as $19.99...probably a few dollars cheaper once they hit retail stores.

I've looked and looked and can't find any that I really love. I git the pebble blue thinking it would keep the new phone look longer than the white, bit I want to put a pink case on it, which will just look weird. Guess I'll just order a cheap jelly type case to keep it safe until I find something I really like.

Personally I would love a case like Lifeproof for the iphone, waterproof, drop proof and all of that would be fantastic..

Got that EXACT same cover also!! Clear with matte back -- think it was $3 with free shipping from China --- Took about 10 days to get it ... Same quality as you see at a mall kiosk

Yeah, my $3 tpu case is just to tide me over til I know for sure the S3 is a keeper and I can check out all the high quality cases as they come to market.

It's not actually Samsung made. I thought it was at first, but it's not. It is very tight fitting, very slim, like it's not even there really. Improved grip. I'm lessing worried about dropping the phone now

These cassette cases aren't prrobably the best or highest safety rated however for a 1.50$ I'm sure its cool to buy 2 or 3 colors and have fun with them once in a while.

By the way if you are under 20, you probably don't even know what this case means. Which is sad
