Root [GSM] 3vo Unlock?

Hi guys,

I have had a look on the net and searched the forum but found nothing helpful.
I want to unlock my phone but everywhere I look they want money for a code?
Can anyone help as I am looking at getting a different sim. Does anyone have a code I can use? :confused:

Is your phone an EVO 3D, or a regular EVO ?? Which carrier are you on ??

I could be wrong but I think he might be talking about unlocking the actual phone to use on another carrier? maybe unlocking the simlock?
 
If that is the case we do not discuss that option here, it is against the rules of the site, sorry.
 
unlocking a gsm phone is not the same as cloning the meid/esn in order to obtain free service,or fraud a carrier that does not normally allow the use of that device.

alot of GSM carriers will give you unlock code if you are a customer within a certain time frame of good standing. AT&T,for example,will issue you an unlock code of youve been a good customer for more than 60 days.

verizon, as well,will give you the unlock code for its world phones if your a good customer(tho i forget the time frame).

pltweed,id suggest contating vodaphone on your unlock issue. do you know for a fact you are simlocked? htc does sell unbranded devices that are not simlocked at the factory :)
