Man, I want it so bad but I can't stomach paying $700 for it. I think that's way too much. Especially when it's on Ebay already for $600 out the door. And that's for the 32 GB version too.

there is something fishy about those ebay ads.. some were removed. there is no 32gb version being sold in the first batch and none at all in the UK. id rather pay a lil more to get it from a real company with real receipts and accepts returns. just in case there are manufacturer issues
 
That price is a bit high for my liking, or I would have ordered it. I'll just wait for it to hit T-Mobile.

i dont think it will ever hit a tmo store.. if it does come stateside, it will be a bestbuy order again.. at full price which will probably be around 579-600, then add tax. so yea i paid lil more (about 50) but i get it even before verizon folks.. worth it to me..lol
 
I really don't know what to do. Even $600 is just way too much, even for this phone. Especially when we can get the S2 for only $200 and I'm sure we will be able to run ICS on it fairly quickly. I'm new to Android and haven't fully learned how everything works yet. But I'm sure someone will port it over to the S2 pretty quickly.
 
$680 is perfectly fine with me as I'll make up the difference within the first year(have a $55 plan now vs. the $110 plan I'd have with Verizon).

I'll be too busy playing Skyrim to care exactly which day it arrives. I'm just happy I can stay on my ATT pseudo-unlimited plan.

Market is region based, not device based. So long as the device is approved by Google to support the market, it will modify the content of the market to display regional applications (so, pretty much every application if you're in the US)


If I'm wrong, there are solutions to fool the market into thinking you're somewhere you're not (Market Enabler).
 
I have had multiple pre-orders with them in the past and all ended up getting cancelled cause their dates always seem to move back and back and back. YMMV. Just a heads up. Hope its different this time, and wtf Verizon get with it

Anyone in canada order this? Any idea what would happen for taxes at the border? Im so darn tempted to order this honestly..

I had too, it may have just been the phones at the time. Come to think it probably was,the most recent being the Pre 3 and Dell Venue Pro both of which were botched launches so maybe not their fault.
 
Reply I got half an hour ago after I asked when they'd be shipping it:

"Thank you for contacting Negri Electronics. These units are set to be released by November 17, 2011. We should have them in-stock soon after, maybe a couple days like the 19th or 20th of November. The best thing I can recommend is to place a pre-order for this unit."
