Very tempted but I'm bothered by news of the volume glitch. Debating whether I should wait it out or order now. :confused:
 
What are the benefits of going with Expansys? They are selling it for $65 more than Clove/Handtec.

I'm not exactly sure. I like how they have the phone in stock now. Apparently, Handtec is holding off on shipping to see if they can get the volume bug fixed. The price seems cheaper than the current Negrielectronics price.

from what I am reading the volume glitch is only present on 2g networks using 900mhz and only when other devices are near by. I don't believe any north american carriers use this frequency

That's good to hear for me, not so much for my wife. She's not going to be happy..lol
 
they are a US vendor.

Technically the phones should be the same, but I felt better about buying from a place that ships out of the US vs the UK

Well, Handtec ships overnight -- and Samsung won't honor the warranty from either place (for US customers), because it's a UK device.

I don't know; even with the coupon, it's still more expensive.

I am not telling you where to order from. go for it. Handtec seems legit.

What I will say is handtec has stopped shipping/out of stock and clove is out of stock.
 
True. Plenty of people order from Handtec. Just note the shipping delay due to glitch (or you can email them and have them ship now according to their blog). It depends on what you're more comfortable doing. I would prefer to order from a store here in the US. It just seems like less of a hassle for me and my credit card.

Word of comfort,I went with Negri cause they warranty the device for a year and will handle the return of the phone to Samsung for you.sometimes you pay a little more for comfort and peace of mind

I read through their policies and I don't think they warranty the phone for a year. It looks like they put it back onto the manufacturer.

"Every (Non Carrier Branded) device comes with a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. After 25 days our exchange/return policy has expired, you should contact the manufacturer for repair or for warranty replacement or exchange, if your device qualifies for this. Please contact the manufacturer to determine if the device you hold is covered under their warranty. If you would like to send your device to us to send to the manufacturer you are free to do so"

Yea thats what i meant.. They handle the process. I payed 715 with shipping. I really dont think thats bad. Keeping mymoney in the usa was somewhat important to me too
 
Negri made me Scan over an image of my Amex card and my drivers licence, kinda nervous that no one else here has reported they needed to do that...

I used my Amex, and I use google checkout all the time I know the address and info is correct...

This is the email I got from them yesterday...

to BIGMERF... please post when you get your Nexus. I got notice that I am having mine shipped out on Black Friday as well but UNFORTUNATELY for me... I am out of town all week next week so my new GN will be here at my house but I WONT!! I am so irritated.

Just ordered mine last night from expansy, paid for overnight shipping. I hear they are suppose to be receiving more shipments in today. If so then I should have it tomorrow, hopefully Friday at the latest.

i think so many people have ordered now that we ended up at the back of the line. last night i refreshed my order page, and it said waiting to be packed and shipped. a few minutes later i refreshed again and it went back to the "We are currently awaiting stock" status. to top it off, the "usually ships in" on my order page has gone from 3 days, to 2 days, to 1-2 days, back to 3 days, and now 1-2 days. on the main page it was doing basically the same, with it now says ships in 3 days...

EvoTronix has it for 20 dollars cheaper and they will receive stock on Mon. so today i'm prob going to cancel my order with Expansys and place a new order with EvoTronix. at least i can get in touch with them on the fly if need be! thank you, live chat!

also, EvoTronix is located out of Atlanta, GA. would take like 2 days even with standard shipping since i live in NC.

Mine shipped yesterday, and it the tracking said it was suppose to be delivered today. But it has updated with any other information yet. Still hoping I get it today. Since it shipped yesterday, I am banking on it arriving today, otherwise what is the point of paying for next day shipping.

that's very odd that it was shipped yesterday, yet they haven't received their new shipment yet :confused:
 
After talking with them on their facebook page, even though I got shipping confirmation yesterday it didn't actually ship. Dumb, but oh well.

They informed me that Fedex picked it up today and my tracking information will be live tonight and I should get it tomorrow.
