Help Gtalk Video Chat

Hey guys and gals my daughter has an incredible 2, I would like to know if the gtalk video chat will work with her phone. I have the Galaxy Nexus and we would like to try out the video chat.
 
2.3.5 is required for that I think.
Maybe you can root it & flash a custom ROM with 2.3.5 and maybe then get it to work then.
 
There are other options for video chat between the two devices.
You could try downloading tango, Skype or oovvoo from the market.
They are all free too.

My father in law got one yesterday & I had a chance to check it out.
I wish I didn't.
The hands on Android 4.0 left me wanting one real bad now... ;)

Thanks we are going to give Skype a shot.

Exactly what did she do to get it working on her Dinc2?
Just download the newest version of Skype from the market and that was it?
No clearing data on the Skype mobile that comes pre installed on Dinc2 uninstalling then reinstalling the market one?
How is the video quality?
I guess that's not needed anymore?

I might have to give it a try now and find out of the video quality is better than Tango.

Sorry for the delay. I'm pretty sure she updated what she already had on the phone. Video was pretty good although it did freeze up a couple times for a few seconds.

Yeah, i deleted tango and gave Skype a try.
At first I could not download it from the market, it would start then then stop and give the error message that the file type was invalid.
So, I cleared data on the mobile Skype and restarted my phone.
All good, got it up and running.
I have to say that I think the video quality is better than tango.
I skyped with my f-i-L on his Gnex, it worked great and I was impressed. (given that we were both on wifi)
This is a really cool feature to have,& my kids like it too. Asking me "Daddy, how you can do that?"
