I'm back from my son's. The dinner was great and the company superb. "Traditional Mexican Christmas dinner" is not likely THE traditional dinner. It's been our tradition to enjoy my son's mother-in-laws Mexican dinner each Christmas Eve. This year it consisted of fried tacos and carnitas with sliced and pulled peppered and smoked pork butt. Spanish rice and sliced avocados, guacamole, and corn salsa were served as sides. Super good eating.

My daughter in Cal. graced me with an assortment of rubs from a vendor local to her. Anxious to give them a go. Also landed a replacement cooler for my midsize go to. No socks.. good year.

Well my son got me a cup for work that says super mom! I feel blessed! I am however about to get put in a food coma with all this food I am going to be eating today!

Yes! Drone delivery? Ha! Mine came at precisely 7:59:45 this morning, as the AMAZING B-2 Spirit bomber flew over my house on its way to do its flyover at the Rose Parade at 8:00. My cats looked up as its roar got louder, finally practically shaking the house. I love it! I've already replayed its parade flyover twice.
