Thank you, one and all for visiting my guide to prettifying your Transform Ultra. Before we get started, this guide assumes that your phone is rooted, and running the latest version of ClockWorkMod (v5.0.2.8 as of this writing; "ClockWorkMod" will be referred to from here on as "CWM"). If any of the words I used in the previous sentence (or in the guide as a whole) sound like a foreign language to you, please visit this sticky before proceeding any further. If you're not sure what version of CWM you're running, you can reboot into recovery, and it will tell you at the top of the screen, or you can visit the thread here and flash it just to be safe.
As with anything that tinkers with the phone's internals, there is a risk with theming your TU. You may experience anything ranging from an almost unnoticeable glitch, up to and including turning your precious device into a designer-label toddler toy. Because of that, I've included the mandatory disclaimer. But because disclaimers are ugly, and most of us know the jist of what the disclaimer says, I've chosen to stuff it in a hidey box this time.
DISCLAIMER:
As of right now, this guide is written with my particular setup in mind, following the exact steps I take when making any theme. Where and when I can, I will try to make notes, additions or corrections where what you experience and what I've written may be different, but please understand that I am human, and do make mistakes.
This also doesn't mean that you have to change your computer or phone to match my specifications in order to successfully create a theme. I'm just letting you know ahead of time to minimize the number of surprises.
My setup is as follows:
-Computer: Ubuntu Linux version 10.10 (Mavrikmeercat), GIMP photo editor, Chromium (Chrome-like) and Firefox browsers
-Phone: Sprint Samsung Transform Ultra, Megatron ROM version 6.0.4, Halloween theme
One last note: This thread has been moved to a different secion in the forums. Despite the name of the forum, this guide will work for ANY TU. As Slayer mentioned in his post below, it's been moved to maximize the opportunities to allow me to piece it together exactly the way I want. I apologize if this causes any problems or confusion, however, I believe the end-result will make it worth the wait. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

It still needs a few tweaks, such as screenshots, and Windows vs. Linux differences, but Section 2 is otherwise complete.
