The link for the downgrade tools seems to be invalid atm, anywhere else a copy is available so I can continue the guide? Cheers.

I have been seeing your post on rooting several Android devices.. I would like to root mine.. I am not all that technical savy to understand wats being discussed and try it out myself.. but very curious to know what it is and root my device for the advantages i will get after that..
