Root [GUIDE] Movinand Bricked *Unbrick* [updated]

This is said to be unfixeabled on phones, since I have never had this problem before, I never liked to mess into this and developers could not figure out how to fix movinand when it's bricked, but I really didn't think this was so easy to fix :-/ (Not blaming devs... well yes lol).

Please follow every step as wrote.​

What is needed:​

-ADB: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD / MIRROR
-Calculator: (Win+R: calc, or accessories/calc)​

Step 1. Unbrick First.​

-Before doing this you must have done this: CLICK HERE
-If you did so then continue.


Step 2. Recovery Mode.

-Take out your phone's battery and put it in again.
-Press Vol Up + Home + Power.
-Now you should see all red text and recovery options.
-Done.


Step 3. ADB.

-Extract ADB somewhere.
-Open CMD or win+r: cmd
-Lookup the folder where you extracted ADB
-Put the following commands, one after one:

*adb shell
*su


Step 4. FDisk.

-After you have followed all the commands wrote before, let's continue using commands ;p.
-Put the following commands, one after one:

*fdisk /dev/block/mmcblk0
*d
*1
*n
*primary
-Now it will ask for the cylinders, here goes the work, I will put all the cylinders I used:
*1
*47647
*n
*47647
*54048
*n
*54049
*59136
*n
*59137
*61053
-After you have put all these values, don't forget to do this one, is the more important:
*w

Now you're done, reflash the guide from the first step and your movinand and phone will be working again .

If the values are not the same and shows something like: 3,907,584, let me know because there the will be a problem, but is not the case in the Attain... but who knows

I don' have the Attain anymore, I gave it back to his owner just after I fixed it. I might be able to put CWM or any other recovery if TokenPoke sends me his device to develop on it, this device is smoother than my Atrix (Dual Core).

That would be awesome. Hell, if I get the motion or just feel like letting my baby go for a minute ill send mine. I got an admire as a backup so ill be smooth.

Edit: yo, pm me, maybe if you can tell me the commands to pull the partitions you need for cwm maybe we can get it for this phone. If we get cwm I may consider keeping my attain. That will open up the door for so much.

I get all Blue text in recovery and I wondered about this also after I run this

Well it's common sense that you will go from 1-4, but really I forgot about the primary and extended, thank you so much .

You all will use primary.

And answering your questions, this is only for double hard brick,

Brick 1 - You got your phone repartitioned.
Brick 2 - You got your movinand totally deleted.

You can about the second brick when the recovery says that there is not partition to format or mount, and you get everything with a lovely red text, so after you do the first unbrick you should be able to see the red text otherwise your movinand is not bricked.

Okay my Attain has been a brick for 4 months.And finally guys figure out how to fix it.Now it might just be me but I don't think the guide i was written for somebody that has never used adb before.At struggling through it thinking I finally had it fixed,Now all it does is go to the samsung then metro boot screens .I've done these walkthroughs over and over and over again.Basically I'm going to need someone to hold my hand through the unbrickingmy phone or I'm gonna snap and throw it off my balcony .please help me out I've read these everyday since my admire
