No, I'm saying that my phone was one of the phones that wouldn't boot, so I'm using the one that works for the people who wouldn't boot. And I'm pretty sure that the one that was remade for the people that wouldn't boot is universal for all M's too (correct me if I'm wrong)

Okay, so I do think I have fully got it up and running. Now let's see what I replaced.. In /system/bin I replaced:

In /system/usr I replaced:

And finally, in /system I replaced:
build.prop

(And you can't forget the boot.img, either.) But anyways, This should work for all Roms (Except ICS-based ROM's) from the Lg Optimus M, T, V, S, and the LG Vortex. Test this out, and give your feedback!

If signature check is enabled, it will still say its invalid....
The original ROM is invalid via signature check
But if you unzip and rezip the original ROM it will not install at all if verifier is on or off...

I already replaced the files so I'm booting right now

Awesome. I kinda want to figure out why the ICS Rom won't install, though. It's probably something to do with the kernel?

Try replacing the boot.img with the boot.img from the ICS ROM that was made for our phone, they might be different boot.img, theres no way we're gonna get wifi becuase we need a wifi driver to be written first and it hasnt been written for our phone

The touch screen seems that driver is in the boot.img, I may be wrong but as soon as we replaced the boot.img it fixed the touchscreen with the OV ROM on the OM
Yea it doesnt work right with ICS build, the boot.img is probably the reason it doesn't work correctly, it wasn't built correctly....

ICS Themed Gingerbread, yes, actual ICS, nope.

Here's the one I ported from the V to the M

You can just port that one to the C......it will actually boot and everything right now for you, but I don't know about MMS....

and it will say MS690 instead of LW690 until you port the build.prop file.

Mms doesn't work...but anyway everything runs good.

I think all you have to do is flash playfulgod's MMS fix for the optimus C, if there are any other issues besides MMS let me know so I can make the easiest guide to port m to the c.
