After towelroot what is the best app to delete bloatware? Which programs are deletable for Metro PCS LGMS323 without causing system problems. Thanks.
Somehow, after running an automated bloatware removal script, my camera's flash was disable. It's to the point my phone doesn't even support any flashlight apps from the Play Store. I mean, I'm able to download the apps but the flash doesn't come on. Someone please help.
I successfully installed Towelroot and had root access. However, after last night's kernel update, Towelroot will not longer work. I have tried the various modstrings, including the 1337 0 1 0 4 1 with no success. I am hoping someone can find a fix for this as I was just about to start offloading apps to my SD card to free up space. The new version is MS32310c.
I have been unsuccessful with several of the methods here. Flashing did not work - it would not go beyond detecting the phone. Also have been unsuccessful in unlocking the bootloader. TowelRoot comes back with "device not supported".
I just got this phone yesterday. Running Android 4.4.2 Kernal 3.4.0+, Software MS32310c. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this phone rooted?
Help!!!!!!!
This guide is designed for the Metro PCS version of the L70, but it should work for any version of the L70.
You retain all responsibility of your phone, and should you brick it , that is your fault. (Although I'm 99.9% sure you won't)
1. Go to towelroot by geohot and download the tr.apk file (Click the Lambada)
2. Put said .apk file onto your phone and install (Need to have "Unknown sources" checked in the "Security" tab of your settings)
3. Press the "Make it Ra1n" button
4. Wait until your phone restarts (It will do so automatically)
5. Congratulations, your phone is now rooted!
Seems like firmware version is the most likely reasonI used this and it did not work and Metro still has control of my hotspot , and I do not have admin rights I cannot remove apps I do not want , why ?
