Can you still get it to boot into CWM recovery?

Edit:
What version of windows are you using?

wait just a hole moment :O, i finally see something new, so i believe this is because the ics uboot etc, but i tried VOlume up + power + home, then released power and noticed a recovery, but its displayed as a white box ,it says Recovery Mode, this mode is for data backup at service center. afer removing and reattaching battery, press power key to reboot and keep using phone

Nope dont think so and windows vista

With vista make sure that when your using any of the recovery tools that you run them as administrative user. You might also want to try a different PC, one with either XP, Win7 or Win 8. Vista may be the main problem with not being able to recover the L9.
If possible try to boot the device into recovery mode also. Try powering on the device... if the front led keys flash repeatedly, press and hold down the volume (-) down button until it boots to recovery. It probably won't but it's worth a shot. If you can get it into recovery there may be an easier way to recover the phone.
Sounds like to me that you may have tried to install a custom ROM on the L9 without an unlocked bootloader, which would cause the phone to brick. To flash any custom ROM on the L9 the bootloader needs to be unlocked and almost all of the newer versions of the L9 have an encrypted bootloader, thanks to LG.... Which means it's not unlockable.

Were you able to get the lelus fastboot script setup and then flash the ics uboot and xloader?

Sounds like your making progress!!
So what happened next after reinserting the battery, pressing power to reboot?

well yes i've crossed that information on it being unlocked, when i was first rooting it , trying to put a recovery on it it said the bootloader had to unlocked, so i did that, then everything was settled, and on the xda forums, i remember someone telling me that the recovery was too old for kit kat, thats why it wouldn't flash the rom and gapps that i found for the l9, and yes i was able to successfully flash the ics uboot and xloader, because of that flash now it boots up to a reversed purple lg sign, the s/w upgrade mode is also reversed and the recovery is just a white box that says what i told you earlier, i think i want to try something out, since it booted up to this recovery, if i can find a recent recovery img. for the l9 and flash it through the lelus fastboot script, i want to see will that boot up to the recovery, if so i'll try to flash a stock rom and gapps, and see how things go

I'm pretty sure that I have an extracted stock recovery.img from a L9 ms769 saved on my PC and I can upload it for you if you need it and you can then try to flash it through the lelus fastboot script from the "your folder".... You can also update the recovery in the LG mobile support tool. Run the LG mobile support tool and then look in the top right of the screen and select "Support Tool Options Menu" and then select "Upgrade Recovery" that should reinstall the stock recovery on your L9 also.
Everytime you will have to replace the ics uboot and xloader through fastboot anytime that you need to rerun and or need/want to use the offline flash/fix method again too flash the L9.
Then after replacing with ICS uboot and xloaders again, you should then be able to flash it using software upgrade and that will update on whether you can restorerhe stock or cwm recovery.
That's typical after flashing the uboot and xloader for everything to be reversed. Usually after you get everything flahed throught the offline fix, by performing a factory manual reset by removing the Battery and insert it after few seconds, now do the 3 button HARD RESET... First press VOLUME (-) DOWN button and HOME button. Then Press Power button only for 3 seconds and then release the power button but dont release Volume (-) Down button and Home button and continue to keep both buttons pressed down until you see a Bigger Green Standing Android and circulating Molecular structure above it., and rhat should do it and tour done! Your Android should now boot and will be back in service. You will loose all the data/apps... But now everything should be fine and boot normally and it will fix all the inverted/reversed modes and sometimes reflashing the uboot and xloader again can also take care of the inverted/reversed modes.

Let me know how that goes for you and if you need me to upload that stock factory recovery .img too!

sorry havent been on the cpu lately but yes i'd like to try that recovery img, that you have

Hey, that's not a problem... No worries I know how it goes.
I'll get that stock recovery.img loaded up to my Dev-Host account and as soon as I have the download link ready I'll post it here for you.

Hi, I followed the root guide for this, but I got a security error.

I am now trying to unbrick this phone, but I cannot get into software upgrade mode?

I have tried holding all buttons w/ the battery out - as well as in. Please help?

Have you tried removing the battery then press and hold the volume (+) up button, connect the phone to the PC via USB cable and then reinsert the battery?
You might want to try using a different USB cable also, the one your using maybe causing the problem.

What method did you use to try and root your L9?

so my results from attempting to try it on a window 7 laptop is , well the lg support tool wont install and the lg flash tool stops at 27& any help or solutions? :(

Any other solutions if i may ask? ;/

Hey Vincent, still no luck with it huh!? Well here are some more suggestions for you to try...
That's strange that the LG Mobile Support Tool wont install on your Win7... You might want to try and install an older version of it if possible.
Not sure what kdz version your trying to install, but you might want to try an older kdz version as well. Like stock 10D kdz. Also just incase when you download a kdz, it may hve a suffix of something like .txt, make sure if it does to rename it to .kdz instead.
Also on the Win7 laptop, try using one of the USB ports on the rear of the laptop or in a different one that you have already tried.

If you tried using the "Offline Fix" then you will need to remove the edited host files, so that it actually connects to the net. Then try running either the LG Support tool or the LG Flash Tool again.
You might also want to try and reinstall the stock recovery again by running the LG mobile support tool and then in the top right of the screen, select "Support Tool Options Menu" and then select "Upgrade Recovery" then try and recover the phone with the LG Mobile Support Tool. Make sure that when your using the LG Support Tool that you don't select "Upgrage Start" but you select "NORMAL WEB UPGRADE TEST" at the bottom of the r&d test tool.

Not sure why the LG Flash Tool stopped at 27% I would uninstall and then reinstall it again and then rerun the program and see if it goes through this time.

Have you tried the "Offline Fix" yet?

i was trying the offline fixed but i couldnt get the lg support tool :BAc2 etc to installl on the computer like it just stops in between the installation process it doesn't finishes it. and the kdz version was the 10D one and so try reinstalling everything?

IT FINALLY WORKKKSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, THANK YOU XDRC45 , Thank you very much but Thank God mainly because all i did was just open the support tool and pressed upgrade recovery from my original computer and it started doing the process and it worked!!!!!! that saved me a $45 repair fee

Yes!!! That's Awesome Vincent!!
I knew you would get it eventually... These L9's can be recovered from just about anything but they can be very difficult and finicky while trying to unbrick them.
I'm so happy I was able to help you revive your L9 and save you some $! Good work!

I'm amazed this wasn't tried from the jump...

I thank you both for giving me information on how to fix this, and i use to try it at first but it always said only wireless upgrades are supported on this device and when i pressed the upgrade recovery some other boxed popped up. but overall even though it was a mistake i made, i find samsung devices slightly easier to unbrick due through the use of Odin, i may be wrong, but one last question , i was asked but i didn't know the answer, is it possible to flash another another company brand to another one, like flashing sprint to at&t , didn't quite understand what he meant but he said was it possible?

Not on this phone. Before I got the G3 I could flash a tmobile rom on my puerto rico variant of the G2. We had loki on the G2 and the puerto rico was the same model as the Tmo. On your L9 the bootloader is locked so it's not even an option.
