Guys! Try out GDE homescreen cube! AMAZING!!!

Is there a guide on how to use this somewhere?

Maybe I'm missing something. I bought the program thinking I would be able to make my droid look like the HTC sense UI.

What I got was a colored background and a call button that works just like the phone icon.

Am I missing something?

Please help!

OK, so I just installed it and it launched once. I then chose the normal home screen as the standard and Im trying to relaunch GDE but cant find it anywhere on my phone. Its not on my apps page and its not listed as a widget? Any one know?

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Press the menu key and select "Filter". Change the option to "All". Now find the basic application called "Home". Select it, and on its menu, press the "Clear Defaults" button. You will then be given the option to set a new default when you press your home key.

Anyone experience lower battery life? I feel my battery dropped significantly after installing.

I've been using it all day, and my battery life has been close to normal. Looking at the usage tool, GDE has used 5% of my battery (compared to 50% display, 25% phone calls). Nothing I'm worried about.

so is there a trial for this? or do i have to purchase it first for the trial? kinda defeats the purpose in that case...

Every market app has a "trial". You purchase it, and if you're not satisfied, you can return (uninstall) it for a refund within 24 hours.

OK I was thinking of buying this but I have ?'s
how come the price is not US $? It doesn't even convert?
and what is GDE? What does it stand for, I see a lot of themes that say you must have GDE installed?
thanks

is there any way to make the menu button and the application pull up do different things (like they do on the stock UI)?

Still a little buggy on my droid, sometimes the wallpaper just disappears and i get a black screen. Also notice if you flip too quickly it will just kinda shake or something, hard to explain. Still needs some tweaking but over all it looks better than most.

First app i bought, like it so far. Not sure if i like fade as much as others on here, might stick with normal but still very nice. I will need 5-7 screens at some point so i figured just to get it over with.

I am also trying to install this. When I go to th "Home" clear defaults screen the button is not high-lighted and says no defaults set. What am I missing?

I installed this, based on all the excitement in this thread! Have to say I was disappointed in it :( First, when I changed themes, the only thing that changed was the icons. Secondly, it was hard as hell to find the settings menu for this thing! Pull up center menu, then find the minute area on the faaaaar left of the draw up menu to side scroll to the settings. Took me about 12 attempts to get there, and it never got better. Screens: farthest left screen has 2 greyed out areas that you can't drop ANY widget/shortcut into??? They just won't "go" there. Never could get shortcuts/widgets to disappear after I set them, no trash can?? Uninstalled this out of sheer frustration :( I've been waiting for a theme application that works well on the droid, still looking :(

Turn off fast fling under control panel/desktop settings.

aight, feeling like an idiot now. somehow i got back to the regular home screen and can't get back to gde????how????

How do I stop the cube from cycling multiple screens with only one flick of the finger. Its kinda annoying to have to control the speed of my finger in order to move to the next screen. Anyone know how to prevent this?
