I just don't get this application. as far as I can tell, the only thing it did was add more home screens which I don't need and it gave me a "call button" which does exactly what the phone button did before.
doesnt seem much smoother. I just feel 3 dollars poorer.
I installed a widget in my GDE home screen called an Application Dock. I am not sure what it is meant to do, but I cannot get rid of it. Any ideas on the purpose and how to remove from the screen?
You can drag apps into it and scroll through a bunch of them rather than having to keep adding them to clutter up new home screens. To get rid of it press down on it near the side of the screen and drag it away.
)If you're playing w/multiple home screen programs, you'll want to get the free app "Home Switcher."
It shows all the home screen apps installed, allows you to set/change the default home screen, and to launch whichever one you want from it as well.
Great little app...
In Cube, Fade and Stretch, it throws the wallpaper way off center.
Just adding the phone button to the bottom menu is worth it. B4 it was a pita to have to flip to the home screen just to press the phone button.I just don't get this application. as far as I can tell, the only thing it did was add more home screens which I don't need and it gave me a "call button" which does exactly what the phone button did before.

Once I set GDE as my default home how do I get back to the standard android home???? Im stuck!!!![]()
How does one go about switching back to the original Theme that came with the Droid if I wanted too?
That's exactly what I was just going to ask.
download "home switcher"
You don't need an app to switch. Just select the 'home' button, and it will ask which on you want to use. If you set one to default, just clear your default that way you dont have to get an app. Many thanks!!!! Works very well!!!
Dunno, you might have a widget there that doesn't display properly with GDE. On a side note, I suggest you switch from standard transition to fade. It actually makes your home screens switch much smoother! I was experiencing quite a bit of lag with the standard transition.
Same here. I love the home interface but cant stand that none of my widgets update (weatherbug, finance, facebook)
