try this ruu:Deposit Files this you will run on your computer. make sure that you have usb debugging turned on and that you have it set on charge. this ruu matches with your baseband.

Also, make sure your computer doesnt fall asleep during the process

That won't work if he's updated to 4.67.651.3. As the RUU has not been released for that, he will have to wait or, use the ZergRush exploit and then adb to trick the RUU process into thinking the phone is at a lower firmware then it really is.

his baseband is from the old update so he should be good to go.
