Root [HACK] Unlock extra 48MB of RAM

I hate the internet on april fools day. It is, by far, the most counterproductive day of the whole year.
 
Hence, it should be a global holiday. The world comes to a standstill and everyone stays at home generating billions and even trillions of electrons forwarding this hoax and that scam....

Oh, wait, that is what happens now....
 
It is NOT an April Fools Joke. I did everything as directed (I don't have an extra SD card so I formed my only card 4 times and now that has 16gb more memory!!!!). My phone is completely bricked but it uses absolutely NO ram! Everything is free! And it is much cooler. The temperature never exceeds room temp! You guys are geniuses! (typed on my Motorola Razr as I am waiting to replace my Droid).

I can't wait to show the guys at tonight's MENSA meeting!

And I'm not gullible (at least thats what people tell me)....
 
i just didnt think it would be safe to let you all try and use it after petes face melting accident so i figured if i just called it a april fools joke everyone would forget about it. im sorry about your phone shrink.

I know, and I always fall for everything! I need to find some sort of program that puts a flashing notification that always stays on top of Firefox and reminds me that it's April Fool's Day. :rolleyes:
 
ha ha, you know someone out there is at this step:

Open up a ADB shell and *****OK this is VERY IMPORTANT! You must format system 3 times*****, the command is
format SYSTEM:

and crying now that they realized it's fake

Ah this is much easier method of unlocking RAM!

I had to bust out the ol' trusty soldering iron to get my extra 48MB...
 
I don't know if this was originally designed as an April fools joke or not...but I applied the 48MB fix. My phone seems to be much faster now but I have this rust colored sludge that is still coming out of the 3.5mm headphone jack! It wasn't there last night but now it just won't stop....I don't know where the source of it is but it has a funny odor and it smells a little bit like....bullshit! lol

That happened to 2 other peoples phones and it rectum. (oops, I meant wrecked them).
 
Can't wait any longer. I just did my own mod. How does 80 gigs sound?
