Don't forget to edit your build.prop (be very careful and always make a back before you do anything)

BUILD.PROP LINES TO BE EDITIED BELOW:

ro.product.model=Nexus One

ro.product.brand=google

ro.product.name=passion

ro.product.device=passion

ro.product.board=machimachi

ro.product.manufacture=HTC
 
Has anyone been able to get this to stream? I can get to my account on my A500, but no luck attempting to stream a movie. Get a 1005 error even after installing the mod.
 
Which version do I download? I'm a newbie when it comes to this sort of thing. Is there anything special we have to do for it to work or simply just download it?? Thanks!

try netflix-devicecheck-disabled.apk (if it doesn't work - uninstall)
try netflix-mod-2.apk

Will give it a try. Is it considered an app? I'm trying to figure out where it will be stored because i downloaded thumb keyboard and cannot find it. Well, the beta version which has since expired. Thanks!

Just tried downloading netflix. Having the same issue. When I go to apps>my apps...it is not there. Now what??
Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to be rooted? I can't figure this out :mad:

Hi,

I don't think you need to root.
You just need to install the apk using a file manager like Astro.

Hi,
connect to wifi network
launch market <search> Astro
download & install ASTRO File Manager

After that...
go to <apps>
<launch> Astro File Manager
search for the apk file in <sdcard>
<click> apk file
<click><Open App Manager>
<click><install>
<exit> by hitting the back button

then... look for the installed app icon in <Apps><My Apps> main menu

Wow, OK I got it all downloaded and wanted to see if i could stream a movie...nope, got the 1005 error :rolleyes:
