Help Handcent 3.9.10 Now in Market

i used ChompSMS on my last two phones... i tried it on my GNex but i noticed that i can't customize the theme at all (e.g., bubble style, background color, etc...). does the customization work for you?

stock 4.0.2 unrooted

i haven't customized anything other than the font size on the conversation list, but that did work just fine.

i wish they'd give us the option to go back to the old style conversation list though (small green line on the side of the message rather than the green dot they use now, and one line message previews instead of two)...

I also prefer the old line to the new dot.

I am running handcent right now with an ICS theme from jbthemes.com - looks awesome and seems to work fine but I just don't trust handcent. I thought i was paranoid but i just read a comment in the market where someone claims that an ad popped up directly related to a text that s/he had recently sent (suggesting they are mining text message content to increase their ad revenue). May have to go back to stock...
