Handcent annoyance

When I get a text message there is a small notification that says "Status:0". Anyone else notice this and know how to get rid of it?

is that the 'sms count' feature or something? dig around the settings. never heard of that. this thread would be best in the android applications forum.

not sure why it says "0", doesn't matter how many messages come in and played with the counting features. hm

go to receive message settings. are the delivery reports checked? try turning those off

oops..i think it was another app doing this dealing with SMS.

the stock messaging app?

go into it, disable notifications and auto-retrieve. see if that works. thats the first thing i did when i got my phone
