Help Handcent LED notification while charging

My LED light stopped notifying me of a text message while its charging in handcent... Anyone know how to fix? I tried using wimax notifier instead and that one work either.

try going into settings/applications/manage applications/handcent and clear cache. and see if that works.

I also noticed that to and when i get an incoming text my light will stop blinking after a min or so. Has this happen to anyone else and if so how do you go about fixing this.

Yes and it doesn't blink really fast when you try to speed it up anymore. Very annoying. I want a separate blink between emails and texts.

what software version are you? there was an additional maintenance ota that came out to help fix some issues with gingerbread. the current software should be 4.24.651.1.

weird i have not encountered this is issue on my phone. have you tried a different app?

Mine went away with the upgrade. No blinking when plugged in.

GO SMS works fine (popups work) but I prefer Handcent's UI

Did popups stop working also? That's my biggest need/complaint.

my popups still work. Its just the notification while charging that doesn't anymore. I wonder if they are ever going to fix this and i dont understand why there isnt another app out there to override this yet.

Odd. Well I uninstalled GoSMS and Handcent entirely. Had to do the latter via 'Applications' as doing it from the market didn't work. I suspect either a bad build or a bad install and/or some issue with Go SMS. In any case I reloaded Handcent and everything works again-with the exception of the LED flash while on the charger-which GB seemed to break.
So, am I back to functioning the same as everyone else now?
