Help handcent mms issue

Ok i'm very much new here and i'm looking for A bit of help, i use handcent over my stock messaging app and love it but it refuses to do mms... I've searched and can't find the answer but i'm sure its been answered before as its a common problem with this app, any help would be appreciated

Welcome to AF!

Go into Handcents settings and there should be an option to split text that are more then 160 characters. Enable it so it splits the texts and you should be good to go

Got that working i faught with that a long time ago lol, i but i still cant send or receive pictures without going into the stock messaging app...sorry ifor not beijg more specific

do u turn off your stock message app when using handcent?

Make sure you DONT uninstall the stock messaging app as it still holds settings over your messaging.

Make sure that everything is still normal in the stock app but you can turn off notifications so you dont get alerts from both apps.

Got it working...the stock was still installed and active but for some reason it worked when i made handcent the default for SMS only, ooh andturned off delivery reports too idk if that had anything to do with it.... Thanks for the help tho !!!!!!
