Haptic Feedback?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
Does this device have it? Sorry if its a dumb question lol but i just got it today and it isnt giving touch feedback, even on my keyboard.
Cheers

Same man. Id always thought a vibrator (lol) would be there as standard on any android device.
Im a big fan of haptic. Especially when typing but i probably wont be doing much typing on the tab

Bummer. I play games very rarely but when i do, i like a bit of feedback. Guess they just couldnt fit it in :)

If the haptic feedback is really important to you, there is an inexpensive tablet out there that has it. (The Hisense Sero 7 Pro) It is basically a 2012 Nexus 7, but with the addition of the SD slot, a rear camera, HDMI output, haptic feedback, and the headset socket works like it should. I've got one, and I like it better than the Nexus. Full list price is $149 at WalMart. Some stores might still sell it for $129.

Thanks mate. i already got the nexus though and specifically wanted a nexus because although its cheap, it should be update/rom supported for a long time

I have some mixed emotions about the updates. If the device works good, out of the box, and they are constantly having strange problems with the updates, Why would I care?

In case you didn't catch that, I'm NOT updating my Nexus. I think it works good enough already. (If it already works, DON'T fix it.)

Yeah i know what you mean mate but i used my nephews nexus 7 on (was it 4.1.2)? And it was kinda crap. 4.3 was a big improvement and 4.4 seems like another big improvement to me. Just wish it had included Android Run Time
