Hard button for screen rotation???

Does anyone know if there is an app or something that I can do to assign my search hard button to be designated as my screen rotation toggle? I rarely use screen rotation, but when I do, I want to do it on the fly and not have to go to a widget or application button.

I have yet to find one. Rarely do I use landscape, but from time to time I would like to use it without having to go into settings. There are toggle apps that will allow you to toggle auto rotation on and off, but that is the best I've found so far.

Not exactly what you asked for, but I use "Shake 'n Rotate".
Instead of a widget to disable rotation, you shake the phone.

That has to be unkind to your battery life, I'd guess... it would have to be perpetually monitoring the accelerometer.

I have a power widget strip that I configured to include common setting like screen rotation. It's called Power Widget Power Widget - Android Application on the Android market
