Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Yeah I'll be happy to watch it, though that scene from the trailers where they show Voldemort and potter jumping together off a cliff has me saying WTF?!?!?! I don't remember that from the books. I hope they didn't get creative and douche something up.

Excited barely encompasses it. I can't believe I fell in love with this story the way I did, but considering I've been waiting for this moment for about 6 years, July 15 can't come soon enough.

I endure the last 3 films so I think I can stomach the last one.

I had a very similar reaction. That scene bugs me every time I watch the trailer; I can't figure out where it fits (in the story). Hopefully they did it right.

I think it's safe to say that the finale should be well done and satisfying for readers. I personally really liked Part 1 and am especially looking forward to the long battle sequence at Hogwarts, in particular seeing Molly Weasley fight against Bellatrix. From what I understand, that's something that people are really looking forward to. J.K. Rowling was one of the producers for this movie so I'm sure she wouldn't end it badly.

I think that scene, the one where Harry's completely enveloped in bindings, and the one where Harry and Voldemort are engaged in a spell battle alone are going to be dream sequences. I don't remember any of those particular scenes from the book, but I do remember him having dreams.

lol I think everyone wants to see if Mrs. Weasley will actually use that line. I'm pretty sure if they don't, David Yates won't be able to answer his front door from all the bags of flaming dog poo.

The scene I'm most looking forward to? LOOK...AT...ME!

Actually, Yates(director) said he'll add several scenes that are not from book.

hes doing this to satisfied fans

Most fans want to see Voldemort and Harry long duel battle.

Anyone going to see the movie at a midnight showing? I think I'm just going to see it early in the morning to avoid high ticket prices. hehe

There's a 7am showing at one of the theatres near my work! haha. Might be able to catch it before work....but probably not. :p

I cannot describe my excitement.

I was going to go to the 2:50am IMAX since the midnight would be too crowded with meatheads. My favorite theater tends to do IMAX 24 hours for the first day or two for the big releases. Star Trek at 3am was great, not a single person loud talked. I find the extra $5 worth it to have so few rude people there.

I gave my ticket away since my sister's employee's BFF has set up a private showing on the 16th. I find it a total waste of her tax return, but I am totally thrilled to see the movie in SD with only 20-30 people. She doesn't want any money from us as long as we keep her row and the 3 forward and behind her empty.

I know some theaters are showing the first part and then the 2nd one right after. I think that's a nice idea would be a fun event if they have some kind of intermission like at shows.

It's pretty awesome, several theaters i live by are playing all 8 movies in order. It's a 2 day event, i really wanted to go but i just don't think i could handle sitting there that long.

Just thought i would add that i can't wait to see it. I bought my tickets to see it in Imax 3D a few weeks ago, but i wasn't quick enough. In order to get good seats i had to buy tickets for a showing next Tuesday. There are way too many Harry Potter fans here.

I remember when Lord of the Rings: Return of the King came out. They did something similar at one of the theatres by me; they played all three extended versions one right after another in one of the IMAX rooms.

I too am excited for this last one too come out though. Here's some eye candy for you guys. We found these at work last night with a box that broke open:

We're only two days away from being able to watch it now! =) Is anyone going to see it in 3D?

On Rotten Tomatoes, the final movie currently has a 97% approval and will be the most critically acclaimed Harry Potter movie. What better than to have the last one be the best in the series. :D

It's been determined... this movie is the blockbuster of the summer.

Hoping to see it tomorrow or Saturday. Love the books but not been a big fan of the films. Part 1 of The Deathly Hallows wasn't bad though so I expect I'll enjoy part 2.
