Help Has anyone figured how to fix the green blob?

My triumph has also fallen victim to the green camera blob. I'm curious if any of you have solved this by upgrading to CM7 or doing something else software-wise.... Or is this something that's a hardware problem?

I think it is a hardware issue, but I never had that issue to be able to test it myself. But that is what it seems by what I have heard from others.

i dont see it.

but if it really bothers you, and your willing to take the effort, you can make a photoshop template that has the green spot sized out so you can take multiple pictures, apply the template and lower the green levels in that area only.

it sounds more complicated than it is, but i used to do that becuase my iphone had that problem.

I've seen it in the past on my phone but I can't remember which ROM I was on..CM7 gives me no problems. My pics have been normal so far

It shows up more in indoor incandescent (or warm lighting) more than daylight. It's likely the camera driver's white balance algorithm being off, or not calibrated right for some phones (like mine too). I've never heard of any software or ROMs making any difference.
