I just flashed this ROM last night. I think I like it, but I'm not sure about the modem.

Just looking for feedback from anyone else who has tried this.

I am loving it...wicked fast, great battery life so far, and i haven't had any issues (no dropped calls, wifi works, GPS is working pretty darn good) i hope that answers your question.

I am a strong DG supporter and i am liking this a lot!

Haven't heard of that one.......toddles off to XDA to do some reading.....

I've been running Andromeda 2.0 for a while now, and I love it! I don't think this ROM is getting enough attention over here:

[Rom][Team Komin] Andromeda 1.0,2.0 based on i9010 armani LIVE!! 1/17/11 - xda-developers

Andromeda - Home

This ROM is not just the work of one, but many of the awesome devs out there (yttr, DG, etc.) I highly recommend.

Here are a couple screens (the themeing is sweet!):

I was trying to get it some love over here, but no one seems interested. I have been running all week. This is the best rom i have tried yet for day to day use. I am not into the over clocking and other stuff. I just want a good froyo that is stable and fast. This is probably the fastest rom i have tried yet (quickness....i don't care the the benchmarks....I care about actual use).

:D

just flashed it about an hour ago, its SUPER fast. id like to see battery life but i think i settled down and picked a rom finally.

i used it for a few hours, i didnt like the look of it and tried flashing a theme, then got lots of force closes and moved to another one

Is this rom this fast not overclocked can it be overclocked?

According to the devs there will be an overclocking option. It will be an add on. I don't know the time frame for this, but who needs overclocking on this? I have been using for 2 weeks now and it is great. They are also saying an update is due "in the next couple of days" on XDA. They are also saying it will be able to be installed without starting from scratch. So if you want to try without worrying about reflashing, it is possible.

Just installed the themed version (2.0) tonight. I will post back in a couple days but first impression - fast.

First *issue* - the date/time was not correct. Going into settings shows that it was set to automatic (over the network). I had to manually set the date/time...not sure what I need to set/tweak to get this fixed. I travel a lot and having the phone update this over network is desirable. Ideas?

Edit - a couple reboots and the date/time over network appears to have resolved itself. Carry on...nothing to see here...LOL

I flashed to 1.1 tonight and it seems very badass....... Ultra smooth, no issues to speak of... Plus this fixed my gps. It locks within 4 seconds everytime. Gps didnt work at all with my stock flash....... TWO thumbs up...

I flashed the ROM last night. At first I was extremely impressed. Wow it is fast. Seemed pretty stable to. Lot of customization and cool little tweaks you can do. Then I started trying to restore things (data only). That's when the problems started. First, I couldn't get my contacts restored. Then the real problems started. Several functions started crashing, including Swype. The phone would start to vibrate several times, then the force close, would pop up. Even rebooting didn't help.

Switched back to Cognition and the problems stopped. Contacts restored and everything. From reading other forums... it appears to be a somewhat common problem.

I flashed it last night as well and I've not encountered this.... The only thing I've noticed was my power button (after taking a pic with it:) ), stopped working. Apparently, there is a 1.2 version/update now.

I have switched between Cognition, Serendipity, and now using Andromeda. Never had a problem but then I never back up applications and/or data. Music/Pictures all live on my removeable SD card...which I take out when flashing a new ROM. All contact and calendar info lives in the Google cloud. I just sign in after the flash and they are sync'd with the phone. Are you saving applications and their data? Do you use Odin to master clear your phone prior to flash?
