Help Has there ever been a fixed for dropped 3G?

The problem itself, not the 'fix' (cycling thru airplane mode). And yes, I *228 all the time.

Rooted Froyo. Had Liberty for a very short while but reverted back( 6 months ago??). And this is only a relatively recent thing for me. I read about others having the problem and mine never did...until now. Happens like 2-5 times a day now!!

I am on cm7, 13p radio.

Maybe we're about to get 4G? Maybe they are testing the system, causing problems?

Mine also loses 3G constantly and I too *228 all the time. Des Moines, WA State. Happens all around the seattle area as well.

It was suggested in another thread to try Performance mode in battery settings:

Settings>Battery manager>>Battery mode> Performance mode.

Will see if that does anything .....................other than kill the battery.

I stopped having the dropping 3G issue with the .602 GB OTA. It will still occasionally drop signal (I've seen the 3G disappear and the bars turn white and drop), but instead of needing to reboot to get it back, it comes back on its own in about 10-15 seconds.

Performance mode seems to be doing the trick so far.
