Root Have latest CM7 rom having gps trouble

So i tried to use my navigation and google maps with CM7 (latest version) and it wont pick up GPS anyone else having this problem? If so is there a fix out for it so i can use the navigation on it?

Everyone has this problem and the fix is a pain in my opinion lol. OK here goes, make a nandroid back up...flash to a sense rom. Get your msl, open dialer, dial ##gpsclrx# think you enter your msl, maybe not its been a while. It will reboot, once it boots let it lock for a good 5-10 min. Then go back to recovery and restore back up, should lock pretty quick after this. have fun.
 
##clrgpsx# -? on your dialer...type that in
Phone will reboot
open GPS test and wait till 8-10 sats show up/20 Mister
restore your sense nandroid
Dload GPS test and open..ensure its working

msl reader from market, if a menu pops up post gps dial you put it in there, its 6 digits
 
not a problem bud...going to bed, well sort of, if ya need something PM me so my phone goes off or wait for a response in here from someone else im logging of my comp...latro
 
GRRRR totaly forgot to doa nand backup before i restored to my stock rom...but w/e lol just rooted for the first time two days ago so still wokring with it and getting on my setting down >.<
 
yo I tell you what.. I will make a video and tommrow i will post a link on this thread..... then you will be stright........

Technically you could have just flashed to your rom after the fix...
 
so my gps is working i believe... it is turned on on the phone, my maps and navigation is working but has acted up... it had a hard time updating my location downtown today... in my Opensignals app, my location marker never moves from my starting location, but wireless routers and cell towers will pop up along my path, all the while my location stays in the starting position... The app was working in my sense rom, but is not working now that I am running cm7... I know this seems like an app specific question, but it seemed relatable...

im wondering if my sysmptoms seem relevant to this post... is everyone that is having this problem getting any gps service at all? or do some apps work and some do not?

I know this post isnt very clear, but any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance
