Having problems with apps not installing? Fix inside

So, since I started with CM6 a while ago, I noticed issues with installing some apps on the market. This did not affect all apps.

So, this evening I decided to give AOSP a go, and after install I tried to install Angry Birds, and no dice. Reboot, no dice. Hrm, discovered I had an error -18.

Appears there are 2 ways to fix this, I choose the easy one.

Oddly, the way Froyo is written with A2SD native, something in the code looks to install to the SD. Simply unmount the SD card and install the app from the market.

The other solution is found here, where I found my answer to this annoyance for the past few months.

Hope this helps some of you.

I had previously gotten the could not install. However just last night clicked the notification instead of clearing it and saw the error 18.

Used my favorite GTS (Google that "stuff") and low and behold!

Hope this helps others tracking down the error on here.
