Root Having trouble updating

I've return to stock and every-time I try to update I always get this

Verifying update package
E: Failed to verify whole file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installing update...


What can be causing this:confused::confused:
 
That is cuz your stock version is rooted and you're problably using cwm recovery.

If I were you, I would use "money15" already updated stock version. ;)

1. Download Zip
2. extract zip
3. move folder named b09 to sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
4. Boot Your phone into clockworkmod recovery and restore the b09 backup
5. Reboot your phone and you should have the new b09 update.

remember on money 15 bo9 u cant do factory reset other then than its good update just not the right one go back fully stock and update i like the new one better
 
being rooted shouldnt effect the update. and cwm disables ftm, and is also the reason you cant do the ota update. you have to install stock recovery back over it

i know you didnt mention the ota yourself but i figured id throw it in there to be clear, you cant use any method of official update with cwm installed on the phone and root shouldnt have anything to do with your inability to run the updater as long as you havent deleted or modified any of the other files. using the ota while on aa just wont work to my knowledge and if it did manage to install you better believe youre gonna have some issues lol
