Root HBOOT Screen

I know this is going to sound picky but is there a way of removing the pink AlphaRev banner at the top of the HBOOT screen? I've no issues linking to them in my signature and will always give them credit but I want my phone to look stock...

That's going to be part of the hboot.img file that's flashed, so you'd need to get into that.

Have no idea how these hboots are compiled

If I may get back on topic gentlemen. The Alpharev website itself gives instructions on how to do this Eddy, at the bottom of the page under donate.

EDIT: I was told Susan would do anything with a donation.

Just do a text search in HXD for "ALPHAREV", you'll find "---ALPHAREV---", keeping the length the same, rename it to whatever you want and save the hboot file

We have to find the code corresponding to pink color, and substitute it with white.. I haven't tested it for the obvious reasons.. If it was any other image, I could play around with it, but hboot, well..

Yup, but it does away with the text and gives you a pink blotch..

Actually, alpharev team is said to have made hboots by reverse engineering it.. If only one could find the tools with which they did it
