Help HDMI out possible?

You have to have a smart TV...that's all I know. If your TV is not a smart TV, then it wont work. I don't have a smart TV, but others do and they got it working.

If I did not have smart tv I would not have been asking. Any guide on connecting phone is appreciated.

a lot of times it with DLNA which allows you to stream over your wifi connection videos to things. only way it supports hdmi is if you have an hdmi port or you have the necessary hardware to support MHL.

it doesnt with a regular prop. Youll need to search the file and its info/build in a phone that it works on (such as the evo 3d which has the TV out file).

That is where it stops , Bootloader , The word that I actually dont know for what its for

Just changed the build.prop to hdmi.enable=true and hooked phone up to tv via micro usb to hdmi and it didnt work.:(
Not surprised tho. I guess we dont have the internal hardware for it. Sorry.

I thought there were apps that would let you do it over usb... I know there are wireless ones though. According to LG, the phone supports dlna. Maybe invest in a "set top box". the site shows some that are compatible. Some could even be like bluray players.

Oh okay. I was wrong. blah. didn't know about MHL. but it would be nice to be able to output the phone to tv.. for like youtube or movies.

Though, I was looking for DLNA devices and I randomly found this... "Android Mini Pc" which can work as a DLNA receiver. Cool idea, but sketchy.

Anyways, yeah if you want to output the phone to a TV, it will need to be a SmartTV that supports DLNA. or a BR Player (or internet tv box) that supports it.

DLNA receivers could work with laptops and desktops as well....it works via Wi-Fi/LAN networking.

do you mean that the laptop would be used to receive the stream from phone or that they could transmit it from laptop? lol. either way, seems it would delete some of the purpose in my case, since the media would be first coming off my computer.

Anyways, its something to test as it fits your preference. I know ill be trying anything I can... that is free. :D

The solution for getting the motion to connect with HDMI is simple. Just connect your computer HDMI and connect the motion through bluetooth. You can watch any video or music that on your phone connected to your computer thats connected to your tv through HDMI.
