Anyone notice HDMI out in the build prop?

It's enabled because HDMI works wirelessly if you have a smart TV....
You have to have a smart TV...that's all I know. If your TV is not a smart TV, then it wont work. I don't have a smart TV, but others do and they got it working.

So if bootloader get unlock could it be pissible ?
Just changed the build.prop to hdmi.enable=true and hooked phone up to tv via micro usb to hdmi and it didnt work.![]()
Not surprised tho. I guess we dont have the internal hardware for it. Sorry.

Oh okay. I was wrong. blah. didn't know about MHL. but it would be nice to be able to output the phone to tv.. for like youtube or movies.
Though, I was looking for DLNA devices and I randomly found this... "Android Mini Pc" which can work as a DLNA receiver. Cool idea, but sketchy.
Anyways, yeah if you want to output the phone to a TV, it will need to be a SmartTV that supports DLNA. or a BR Player (or internet tv box) that supports it.![]()
DLNA receivers could work with laptops and desktops as well....it works via Wi-Fi/LAN networking.
