Root Hdmwin App

So I just downloaded the hdmwin app, but I do not know which rom and kernel combo I need to use for it to work. I have flashed a sense rom and the hdmi output works so the cable isnt the problem. Help would be greatly appreciated

not an hdmi expert so no help there however doesn't the place you downloaded the app from tell you which ROM? if its not working on sense try and ASOP. if still no then while in AOSP flash Tiamat if nothing try going back to sense and using freedom

obviously chop suey is what you need :p Thanks mario

I believe the app has become unnecessary with gingerbread...

For Sense, Chopy Suey (v.9.2.7), the Freedom kernels (v9 only), and Poonsense (found through kernel manager) all should have full HDMI-mirroring baked in, without the need for the app.

For AOSP ROMs, Deck's stock kernal has it built in. Also, the Tiamat kernels should as well.

(Haven't tested them myself, as I haven't bought a cord for whatever reason, just going by what I have read :) ).

Thanks JSD, I wasn't 100% about the other kernels.
I don't use HDMI on the phone, so that subject is a little fuzzy around the edges with me. :D
