Headphones suddenly stopped working

hi all

anyone else having this problem?

afer a factory reset to try and fix my sms problem my headphones no longer work, ive tried known working headphones and they dont either, the headphones work on other devices. the 3.5mm jack seems to no longer work on my hero

gutted.. i use this alot, well, used it alot.. anyone else have this problem?

How are your notification LEDs? Apparently there's a headphone socket fault which also causes them to stop working too.

As in the LEDs and the headphones both stop working as part of the same fault. In case it was unclear.
