Root Heimdall

I am running Ubuntu 11.04 and so I am unable to use Odin. After some searching, I came across Heimdall. It works differently than Odin, so I was wondering if anyone has used Heimdall for their Prevail or other phones. I want to know how to use this program properly so I don't brick my Prevail.

I am also going to try to set up a Vista vm. (I tried installing vista but installation would not complete, which is why I run Ubuntu) any help would be great

wonderful :(

Well I do have Vista mostly set up on VM. I lost my product key (no really, I did) so now I'm searching through my crap for it

Yeah, I skipped it and was greeted by a message saying it could not find Install.wim. Now I'm completely at loss of what to do :/

Well technically if you are already a legitimate owner of the software there is no legal reason you can't download a backup copy especially since your disc seems to be messed up anyway. That seems to be your only real option if the install.wim is corrupt missing or unreadable.

i know this is wayyy off subject but has n e one seen an app in their phone called Gwang-Ju Subway??.. i found it by using appbrain and i went to uninstall it and from the computer and when i looked at my phone it said i was tryin to uninstall a sys app. when i look for the file in my phone, i can not find it... so i just wanted to know if it would be ok to uninstall or not! thanks

I've never heard of it. But it does remind me of a game I once downloaded off the market. The first time I ran it, it asked for root permissions. I denied, of course and uninstalled.

I have no idea where I could download this or how to use it.
