I found this site when I googled "HTC Hero Battery Drain" and thanks to one click of the mouse, my battery drain caused by the 100% awake time due to the HTC SMS program, my battery problem is now FIXED! Thank you for the solution.

After lurking around for a while, I felt compelled to join the forum so I can learn more about my phone. I look forward to becoming a contributing member in the near future.
