I'm actually regestering now so I can thank someone for their very informative post. My Wife's Droid Incredible is having issues with dropping calls and is not under warranty anymore. A Factory Reset doesn't solve the problem so I thought CM7 might. She agreed to let me root her baby and I was just looking at the process.
Someone just asked for a little help and got a huge answer with basically everything I needed to know about rooting the Dinc. I've done me old OG Droid and my new Droid Charge. This phone looks similar to the OG Droid so I'll be pretty comfortable.
Wish me luch that it's not a hardware problem! If I fix her phone she'll be very happy.
