Having trouble getting the youtube audio to play on my ecommerce site on smartphones. Thought I'd try reaching out to the community to see if I can get some assistance in overcoming this. I look forward to making new acquaintances!

What kind of phone do you have? Maybe if you look in and post in the forum for your phone, someone there will have some insight?

Hi tdub01, Welcome to Android Forums!! So you are saying that the audio from you tube is not working for smartphones on your site?

How about regular PC and tablet users? Can they hear the audio? This might be a problem with the website app for you-tube and smartphone's. Can you go into the settings for it, on the website and re-check everything? Or maybe E-mail the website provider? Looks like it may be just a setting or a tweak you need to change.

Hi all and thank you for your responses. Yes, it works on PC's and tablets. I'm using a wordpress site (Guitar Strap Bass Strap- Slinger Straps). I've talked to my host and they don't know what the issue is. I'm not sure what settings you are referring too but I'll look again to see what I can find? Thanks!

OK, I checked my WordPess site (slingerstraps.com) and can't seem to find any settings that make a difference in the video playback on mobile phones. The 2 videos on the home screen play the video with no sound (unless ear buds are plugged in). The 2 videos on the "Artist Video" page will play video and audio only if you go to horizontal and full screen mode. I don't know how to fix this issue. Does anybody have any additional thoughts on what to try next?

I would still contact Wordpress and tell them about it again. Seems like it is on their end, not yours. Then again, maybe something with the vids themselves?
