Root HELP BRICKED! Samsung Admire

ok i guess i wasnt clear enough last time? IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for you to brick your phone by flashing a rom. there is NO official cyanogenmod on a bml phone. thus there could be no misunderstanding of where to flash teh kernel. worst case is a soft brick (aka a bootloop)
 
I hate to admit this but I too installed Clockwork recovery after rooting my phone. I then tried to make a system backup using Clockwork and when it tried to reboot it went black and has not powered back on since. No charger light. D.O.A.

I have been paying $5.00 a month for phone insurance total protection thru asurion since I started with metro. That added up to well over the cost of a new phone. Time to cash in.

Tell them you fully charged your phone and turned it off and that you have have not been able to turn it back on. They will ask if the charging light comes on when you plug it in. You say no. They wont ask anymore questions and send you a replacement ASAP after you pay your $39.00 deductable.

*note: The admire is currently on sale at metropcs for $59.00 but they dont tell you about the $15.00 upgrade fee plus other fee's bring your total to $81.11 to buy a new one while it on sale.
They also make you sign a form stating ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS.
So if you do buy a new one get metroprotect if you dont already have it.
 
Bro I rooted my phone, got titanium backup (backed up all my data and apps), and got Rom manager and tried putting a cyanogen ROM too and since i didnt know my "Phone Model" i guessed and clicked one of the ones that appeared.. Then i picked Cyanogen ROM and my phone completely shut down and i cant do nothing to it just like what happened with your phone. Im stressing because i seriously ned my phone and i have no clue what to do D':

I completely bricked my admire last night and have been going crazy trying to get it to start again. Bottom line is that it won't start not even show any connection. I bought it in Dec. and paid the full insurance coverage for Feb. but told them I would not be using the ins. next month. Still because I have a couple of days left I hopefully won't have any problems getting them to give me a replacement today.

All this happened because I couldn't get the market to work, kept getting error 492 message. Followed one posters advice of clearing Dalvik cache and then clearing the download manager data. This what caused the phone to stop working (clearing data).A word to those noobs like myself, make sure that any help you follow has been verified by someone on these boards who knows what they're talking about, I didn't cover my a** and bricking my phone is the result.
