help choosing a car

I know this isn't a car forum, but was just looking for some opinions.

I'm looking for a smaller car with some decent performance that doesn't suck to be in (some luxury not performance at all costs)

I have been going back and forth between:

BMW 135i
Audi TT
Infiniti G37

Also, I'm looking at a price somewhere around 25k.

Any opinions/ discussion/ reviews from current owners would be appreciated
 
Are you trying to find those cars used? I know for sure that you're not going to find those cars new for 25k. Did you mean 35k?
 
G37 Sedan or G37 Coupe? I used to have the G37S coupe for 4 years before moving to Manhattan and gave the car to my brother. I'd say that it's much better to get a car with a lower base price with extras than a car with a higher base price with no extras.
 
If you live where it snows, get the Audi with quattro. You will love it in the winter...
 
I was looking at the coupe for the g37.

I have gotten quite a bit of snow here in Chicago. The Audi with quattro I'm thinking is going to be hard to find for what I'm looking to spend.
 
I've only had the included Bridgestone Potenza summer tires on the G37 and I'll tell you this... it's not made for winter weather at all whatsoever. The road becomes a slip and slide.
 
Bah! find a good reputable Audi only used car dealer and you will find one. Get a 2.0T and have it chipped.
 
an STI! but of those three id choose the audi, all wheel drive is a huge plus, I'm personally not a fan of the 1 series with the exception of the M1, and between the infinity and the audi id choose the audi.
 
thats why i got the hatchback model I agree though, theres a lot of d-bags that ruin the WRX/STI community and making it ricey.

If the 1 series BMW is anything like the rest of the US BMW line, I'd avoid it since you live in Chicago. Their rear-wheel drive will do you no favors. I've had to go get our last director of our company before when his 6 series couldn't get up a hill in snow conditions that weren't really all that beyond a standard car. He had to leave it in a parking lot. (Which we had to push the car into with one of our trucks.) He kept his BMWs but went out and got a Ford Focus for winter. Another friend of mine with a 3 series convertible couldn't get up a gently sloped drive in winter which any other car could get up. Overall, I'm not impressed with BMWs in the northern climates. I don't know much about the Infinity but it has to be better than the BMW. My vote would also be with an all-wheel drive Audi though.
